Unpaid Overtime
The general rule is that if you are an hourly employee who works over 40 hours in a week, you are entitled to receive 1.5 times your normal pay rate under the Fair Labor Standard Act. If your employer has unfairly denied you overtime pay, you might be entitled to recover that amount, plus an additional award and attorneys fees, so that you don’t have to pay for a lawyer out of your own pocket.
